For some, brunch is just breakfast after having a very lazy Sunday morning, but for others, having a munch at brunch is an attempt to cure the morning after the night before. Sometimes, all you need to cure that hangover are a few slices of bacon, a handful of potatoes or a cocktail that may or may not have been inspired by the (best) 1985 movie — The Breakfast Club. When it comes down to it, brunches are leisurely hangouts with friends involving off the cuff chats over eggs benny; the best remedy for their ailment is something fatty and rich, maybe with a splash of heat, and DEFINITELY some hair of the dog.
We’ve done a roundup of all the best brunch spots in downtown Canmore that are sure to do the trick whether you are the mimosa Queen or the caesar King.

If you’re a Sunday lounger, pull up a chair and definitely grab yourself one of their to-die-for cinnamon buns. You won’t regret stopping in at Harvest for a munch at brunch!

Every night the bakers at Bagel Co. make between 35 and 90 dozen of their delicious ‘New York’ style artisan bagels in 12 different flavors. Their bagels are so light and delicious it’s hard to say no when someone suggests we munch our brunch at Rocky Mountain Bagel Co. On the go or dining in, the Bagel Co. is definitely a local favourite, and as soon as you stop in, you’ll see why!!
